We are pleased to introduce two new Kingpin rods, Z1303S & Z1303F meticulously developed using the latest TORAYCA™ advanced composite materials from ‘Toray’ carbon fiber (Japan). These rods feature Solid Titanium Fuji K Guides, a Fuji Reel seat on the fixed reel seat version, and Pac Bay sliding rings on the slider version, complemented by a carbon weave handle. These rods are designed to perfectly complement Kingpin’s reels.
TORAYCA™ carbon fibers represent the pinnacle of lightweight design, characterised by their exceptional lightness, strength, and rigidity. Leveraging years of expertise and proprietary technology, Toray addresses challenges such as weight reduction, diameter minimisation, and rigidity enhancement through the use of ultra-thin TORAYCA™ prepreg. The epoxy resin matrix in TORAYCA™ prepreg fully harnesses the performance of carbon fiber, incorporating nano-level material control technology known as NANOALLOY™. This technology enhances dynamic properties and offers quick-curing, high-heat-resistance, and impact-resistant resins.
